In November 2023, CIHR’s Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (CIHR-INMHA) hosted an end-of-grant workshop for the 20 projects funded through the Catalyst Grant: Alcohol research to inform health policies and interventions funding opportunity. The workshop brought together researchers, policy makers, health care providers, people with lived and living experience, and other knowledge users to engage in discussion, foster cross-disciplinary collaborations, and mobilize new knowledge to inform policies and practices to reduce alcohol-related harms in Canada.
